Athlete Optimisation is a world-leading, science-backed MTB coaching philosophy, distilled into two clear pathways: the world’s first truly periodised mountain-bike training programme, and elite, world-class performance coaching.
Built on hands-on experience with UCI mountain-bike teams and some of the best athletes in the world, Athlete Optimisation is underpinned by ongoing applied research at the University of Stirling, focused on understanding the true physiological, mechanical, and psychological demands of Enduro racing.
The Programs
The Ultimate MTB Program is a complete training system built specifically for mountain bike athletes of every level. Four downloadable PDFs covering 32 weeks of structured training, three sessions per week, designed to fit around real life.
I built this programme because I spent years working with mountain bike athletes at every level and kept seeing the same problem. Riders who were willing to put in the work but had no structure to put it into. This is the structure. It is based on the same applied sports science principles used with elite athletes, simplified into something any rider can pick up and use from day one.

The Unlimited Athlete Program
Welcome to the world’s first truly periodised MTB training program. Unlimited Athlete gives you full control over your training, allowing you to choose where you start and how you progress. You can follow the program using power or heart rate, depending on your setup and preferences.
Throughout your time on the program, coach support is available. This is primarily delivered via our private WhatsApp group, where you can ask questions, receive guidance, and benefit from ongoing discussion.
